Keep these in your head
Power: hold the button until it beeps. All lights on = connected.
Mevo Studio runs on Wi-Fi. Library connects cameras; Studio is home base.
Lenses (Cores): line up red dot (camera) with white dot (lens), twist to click.
Tripods: plate on, slide & lock, open legs bottom-up, center the bubble.
SD: gold side up, click in. That's your 4K. Record Angle Backups = ON.
Mics: receiver into the camera port, pair until solid green, level ~0 dB.
Never clip audio, you can raise quiet in post, but a clip is gone.
Quality: 1080p High. Only shoot 4K if you'll color-grade in post.
Record: the button opens settings first. Red light = you're rolling.
Don't save the program to the device unless you want the live switch.
Format is forever. Back up and review first, format last.
Mute "Cam" mics in the mixer unless you actually want room sound.
The full walkthrough
Switching the kit from one device to another? They'll just need a quick re-tap to reconnect, the app remembers them.
There's a webcam mode, NDI and live-streaming in here too. You'll almost never need them for recording content, don't let them distract you.
The open face of the camera and the back of the lens are the sensitive sensor. Line up the notches gently, never force it.
Lock it for a fixed angle in the corner of a session. Leave it loose if someone wants to move the shot around in real time.
Without a card, you only capture the live-switched program synced to audio. With cards in, every camera records its own full angle. Load them before mounting if you can.
Deeper DJI tweaks (splitting speakers, balancing levels) are a whole other masterclass, download the DJI app if you want to go there. The basics above are all a normal shoot needs.
Expect a ~2 to 3 second delay in the Wi-Fi preview. That's normal, the recording itself is sharp.
It's always safe to bring quiet audio up in post. A clipped recording is gone forever. When in doubt, record a touch lower.
Saving the program to the device eats a ton of storage and can stop the recording midway. And never hit Format on this screen.

Formatting erases the card for good. This is why the file management in step 13 matters, be certain before you tap Start.
